 | What is your favorite Dr. Seuss quote?
On being true to oneself:
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer
yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you
know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go.”

What is your favorite music video?
"Forever Young" - Rod Stewart
Audio
"May the good Lord be with you down every road you roam.
And may sunshine and happiness surround you when you're far from home.
And may you grow to be proud, dignified and true.
And do unto others as you'd have done to you. Be courageous and be
brave.
And in my heart you'll always stay-forever young. Forever young.
May good fortune be with you. May your
guiding light be strong. Build a stairway to Heaven with a prince or a
vagabond. And may you never love in vain and in my heart you will
remain-forever young, forever young, forever young, forever young.
And when you finally fly away I'll be hoping that I served you well.
For the all the wisdom of a lifetime, no one can ever tell.
But whatever road you choose, I'm right behind you. Win or lose.
Forever young, forever young, forever young." |
 | Why the Panda?
The giant panda is a symbol
of ancient tradition, standing for uniqueness, might, and bravery in Chinese
culture for thousands of years. The Hippocratic Oath is another ancient
tradition, a solemn promise made by physicians to remain faithful to their
patients and to the quality of care they receive. We believe in keeping that
promise, and that the best way to do so is within the context of a personal
physician-parent partnership based upon quality care and communication.
The giant panda is also an endangered
species, with only about 1,000 in the world today. We believe that physicians who practice
within the context of personal physician-patient partnerships, free of corporate
influence, are also an endangered species. Many patients and parents today feel
like part of a corporate assembly line when they go for an office visit rather
than part of a healthcare partnership. Our goal is to make parents our partners
in optimizing the health of their children, and to treat them with the respect
partners deserve.
Finally, giant pandas are just plain cute! |
